New Online Solution Opens Customer Service 24 x 7
DENVER, Colorado and Longueuil, Québec, November 27, 2012 – Coalision, the purveyor of fine brands including Lolë and Orage, and CenterStone Technologies, Inc., an international developer of Web-based B2B e-commerce software, today announced that Coalision and CenterStone are collaborating in enhancing Customer Service and allowing customers to order from their brands 24 x 7. “Now that Coalision is live on the solution”, comments Dave Mathias, VP of Sales & Marketing at CenterStone, “sales reps, retail customers, customer service professionals as well as distributors can now access Lolë and Orage anytime, from anywhere. The leading brands we serve tell us that much of the activity that occurs on their B2B happens outside of normal customer service hours and we’ve observed that when you’re open for business all the time, good things happen with respect to revenue.”
Martin Trudel, Vice President of Sales for the brands shares, “We were looking for something that was already widely used in the industry. We have reps that already use iVendix with other brands and they were supportive of us bringing the platform to Coalision. One of the things we liked about CenterStone is that it is inclusive of the retail buyer in addition to simply having good rep tools. We were looking for a partner that had experience and dependability today, and a clear vision of where their product was headed in the fast changing future. That partner was CenterStone.

CenterStone Releases Support for Safari and other Leading Browsers
iVendix can now be used on iPad and other devices
DENVER, Colorado January 17, 2012 – CenterStone Technologies, Inc., an international developer of web-based B2B e-commerce software, today announced support of the Safari, Chrome and Opera browsers for use with its leading B2B software solution. This means that users of CenterStone’s iVendix Software-as-a-Service (Saas) application, can now access vendor’s important B2B applications with a wider variety of options, including using an Apple iPad. In addition to use of the Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers, this step allows users increased options for accessing iVendix to check inventory, place orders and check the status of those orders. “We are delighted to have taken this significant step towards technology independence and greater mobility,” says Dave Mathias, Vice-President of Sales & Marketing at Centerstone. “While others continue to work on apps, and functionality to be delivered sometime in the future, iVendix users can access their Vendor’s B2B sites, and use a vast majority of our ordering functionality now, on any assortment of tablets – most notably the iPad.”
“It does not require any add-ons, and there will be no continuous updating of an app running locally on a user’s device. In the true spirit of Software as a Service, a user can open up a web browser, log in and you are off and running. We’ll take care of the maintenance” says Tom Detmer, CEO of CenterStone.
We understand the importance of mobility and being able to access iVendix from anywhere, at any time, with any device - that’s the whole point of having web-based B2B in the first place,” continues Detmer. “Whether you are in Los Angeles or Paris, and regardless of the time of day, users need to be able to access critical ordering information from any device they choose, whether it’s a computer at home, or an iPad while in a retail store. People demand this independence, we understand that, and now we support it.

Company Processes Over $1.6 Billion in Wholesale Orders
Denver, Colo. – Tuesday, January 17, 2011 - In 2010, for the sixth consecutive year, CenterStone Technologies reported record numbers of transactions and wholesale dollars processed through its iVendix and Escape web-based ecommerce applications. The company’s solutions have widespread adoption among specialty retailers, sales reps and customer service professionals across the apparel, footwear and accessory businesses and help to expand the marketplace for vendors by opening them up for business 24 x 7. Users can view online catalogs and products, check inventory availability, create sales proposals, and place both preseason and reorders more effectively and efficiently with their key vendors.
The company had predicted continued growth of commerce through its solutions but, was unable to foresee the exponential growth 2010 would afford. Companies realize the benefits of B2B e-commerce and the competitive advantage it provides them, and are rushing to use the premier provider’s services. “We thought this would be a recovery year economically, but there was no way we could have foreseen these kinds of increases at the beginning of 2010. Vendors now clearly see how much incremental business they can create when they use the leading service in the industry and the one that provides access to the largest number of retail users and reps”, said Tom Detmer, CEO of CenterStone Technologies. “While sales reps may carry five to eight lines and therefore have fewer systems to learn, retail dealers can carry up to 200 lines or more in their stores, so they really depend on learning only industry standard solutions, and that’s why they’ve relied on iVendix so much this year. Retail dealers logged into iVendix over 750,000 times this year and placed almost $450 million dollars of orders directly to vendors. That was a 54% increase over last year and the main driver of our 41% total growth.”
“We continue to see industry leading brands adopt CenterStone’s solutions”, said Dave Mathias Vice President of Sales & Marketing for CenterStone. “Whether you are an outdoor, snow, action sport, team sport, lifestyle apparel or footwear brand, we have built strong electronic distribution with dealers over the past 10 years. If you want the best business results, and therefore the best Return on Investment, look at providers who have the best metrics in terms of logins, orders processed and total dollar throughput. In that regard, we think CenterStone is a logical choice.”
“Across the board, our metrics show that while dollars ordered by reps were up 31%, which is a terrific amount, it is the usage from dealers (up 54%) that really made our
numbers jump. I can only surmise that dealers were carefully watching their preseason buys and monitoring vendor and store inventory constantly so they could place reorders
quickly when stocks got to their strike levels – in our data we see an increased ratio of dealer logins to orders. This can only mean that retail dealers are using their vendor’s B2B sites more and more to get vital information that effects their ordering,” said Detmer.
Detmer also commented, “Having added several very important brands this year, the level of value of iVendix to retail dealers has increased enormously because they can learn and understand one system to make orders for a significant portion of their business. This allows retail dealers to perform more and more of their business quickly and easily using a single navigation, so that a greater portion of their day can be spent with customers and building their retail trade. Many retailers tell us that they prefer vendors who use iVendix to those who do not have systems or chose a different, less familiar platform. This all adds up to a very compelling ROI for vendors who chose iVendix.”
Brands currently using CenterStone’s Software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms and making their company’s solutions available to retail customers and sales reps include: The North Face, Vans and VF Imagewear, part of the VF Corporation (NYSE:VFC); Marmot Mountian, Ex Officio and Market Apparel, brands of Jarden Corporation (NYSE: JAH); Under Armour (NYSE: UA); Merrell, CAT and Sebago (Europe) part of Wolverine Worldwide (NYSE: WWW); Helly Hansen; Smartwool, part of Timberland (NYSE: TBL); Rip Curl (Europe); Hurley, part of Nike (NYSE: NKE); Canada Goose; Icebreaker; Yakima Products; Life is Good; New Balance (Europe); Patagonia; Billabong (Europe) (ASX: BBG); Haggar Clothing Co.; Easton-Bell Sports; The Apparel Group; Terramar; The Orvis Company and others.

Haggar Clothing Co. Selects CenterStone Technologies as Business to Business Partner
New online solution for wholesale will open brand for business 24 x 7
DENVER, Colorado and DALLAS, Texas, April 22, 2010 – Haggar Clothing Co., maker of the popular Haggar® brand, and CenterStone Technologies, Inc., an international developer of Web-based B2B e-commerce software, today announced an agreement for CenterStone to provide Haggar Clothing Co. the iVendix Software-as-a-Service (Saas) application. When the B2B solution goes “live” this summer, Haggar Clothing Co. will provide a business-to-business (B2B) on-line ordering solution for their North American retail trade accounts, sales reps and customer service professionals giving users the ability to view automated catalogs, check product availability, place orders, and track and monitor the status of those orders 24/7 via the Web.
“In order to thrive in these challenging economic times we need to be responsive to our accounts and demonstrate to new accounts that we are easy to work with. We need to provide access to quality information and to the Haggar brand, and we need to be open for business 24/7,” states Tim Lyons, President of Sales, Menswear. “We have aggressive goals for continuing to grow Haggar as a quality apparel offering at a reasonable price. Our strategy around the trade account channel is to make it easy for stores to work with us, and we view CenterStone’s B2B platform as a strategic part of our go-to-market strategy. We chose CenterStone based on the strength of the software and services they provide, as well as their demonstrated ability to help Haggar Clothing Co. grow our trade account channel.”
The launch of the new B2B e-commerce site represents a significant milestone in accessibility to the trade channel for the well known and popular men’s brand. The breadth of Haggar product offerings will be directly available on-line for professional buyers, sales reps and customer service professionals, bringing valuable information about availability, order status and other information important to the ordering process, directly into the hands of users who will benefit from the information - anytime and anywhere.
“Haggar has continually reinvented itself by introducing many innovative clothing lines over the years. CenterStone is proud to bring Haggar’s wholesale business online to help them capitalize on the Web’s growing potential for brands to increase incremental revenue, find new distribution, and reduce customer service costs,” said David Mathias, CenterStone’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
“There is no doubt, apparel companies across the board are working diligently to manage inventories and expenditures and reduce their overall company costs. The savviest among them know that this is also the time to take market share from their competitors and to do that they must invest in meaningful customer service,” states Tom Detmer, President of CenterStone. “Allowing their customers and sales reps to use the internet to gather and understand the information they need to optimize orders is critical to that advanced level of customer service and therefore critical to advancing sales, not to mention reducing costs.”
In addition to Haggar, CenterStone provides B2B e-commerce solutions to more than 80 brands in the apparel and footwear industries, as well as supports more than 20,000 users of their clients’ solutions.

Easton-Bell Sports Selects CenterStone’s Global
B2B E-Commerce Solution - iVendix
IRVING, Texas and DENVER, Colo. – Tuesday, February 23, 2010 - CenterStone Technologies, Inc., an international developer of Web-based B2B e-commerce software for manufacturers selling through specialty retail channels, announced today that Easton-Bell Sports has chosen to partner with CenterStone Technologies and selected the company’s iVendix cloud computing application for all of its brands; Bell, Giro, Specialty, Blackburn, Easton Baseball, Easton Softball, Easton Hockey, Easton Lacrosse, Easton Cycling, and Riddell Sports. When the iVendix B2B solution goes “live” later this spring, these brands will provide a business-to-business (B2B) online ordering solution for their retail accounts and sales reps. Retail accounts and sales reps will be able to view automated catalogs, check product availability, place orders and track and monitor the status of those orders using iVendix because it is accessible 24/7 via the Web.
“We chose CenterStone based upon a proven ability to help customers expand their B2B capabilities with an easy-to-use application. As our global footprint grows we want to make sure we have a solution that is capable of growing with us—and iVendix fits the bill,” said Robby McDonald, vice president of information technology for Easton-Bell Sports. “The international experience CenterStone brings to the table will greatly increase our abilities in these global markets. The integration with SAP was a major concern CenterStone’s iVendix is able to address as one of the most flexible systems in the market. The sales programs, discounts, and relationships with our vendors provided us with some very specific requirements that CenterStone could handle out of the box - which made our decision that much easier when we compared them to their competitors.”
“Through our many clients we have observed the specialty retail market changing dramatically. Manufacturing companies need to align their cost structures to improve the efficiency and execution of their businesses,” said Tom Detmer, CEO of CenterStone Technologies. “There is no denying the current economic climate is extremely challenging, but this is the best time for aggressive companies to take market share from their peers by placing their customers first in terms of service. As more and more pressure is put on independent specialty retailers, they need business partners (suppliers) who can be responsive to them 24 hours a day, every day of the week, with the most up to date information. It’s just a reflection of the times we live in; if you are aggressive and put your customers first, you are more likely to succeed.
“We are excited that Easton-Bell Sports has recognized the potential of iVendix as their B2B e-commerce solution, and with more than 22,000 active users of our Web-based application, we are confident that, when the solution is ‘live,’ dealers will also be quick to embrace iVendix for Easton-Bell Sports, and their brands.”
Brands currently using CenterStone’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform and making the company’s solutions available to retail customers and sales reps include: The Apparel Group, The North Face, Vans, Reef and VF Imagewear, part of VF Corporation (NYSE: VFC); Pearl Izumi, Marmot Mountain, Ex Officio and Marker Apparel, brands of Jarden Corporation (NYSE: JAH); Under Armour (NYSE: UA); Helly Hansen; Merrell, CAT, and Sebago (Europe) part of Wolverine Worldwide (NYSE: WWW); SmartWool, part of Timberland (NYSE: TBL); RipCurl (Europe); Hurley; Canada Goose; Icebreaker; Fresh Produce Sportswear; Yakima Products; Billabong (ASX: BBG); Patagonia Europe; Life is good; New Balance (Europe); The Orvis Company and others.

CenterStone’s B2B E-Commerce Solutions See Explosive Usage Growth -
2009 marks fifth consecutive year of significant increase in B2B usage
DENVER, Colo. – Tuesday, January 26, 2010.
For the fifth consecutive year, CenterStone Technologies reported record numbers for transactions processed through its iVendix and Escape B2B ecommerce applications in 2009. The company’s solutions have widespread adoption among specialty retailers and sales reps and help to expand the marketplace for vendors by enabling retail dealers and sales reps to view online catalogs, check inventory availability, create sales proposals and place both preseason orders and reorders more effectively and efficiently with their vendors.
The company predicts that adoption of Web-based B2B wholesale ordering will continue to grow in 2010 as companies realize the competitive advantage that opening up their brands for business 24/7 provides them. “Our numbers are up dramatically again this year,” reported Tom Detmer, CEO of CenterStone Technologies. “As you’d expect given the economy, dollars through the system grew at a slower pace than in past years, but we were thrilled to see that the number of iVendix users (31% increase), logins (28% increase) and individual orders (27% increase) continued on their meteoric rise. As well, for the first time in our company’s history, wholesale dollars processed through our iVendix B2B platform, on behalf of our customers, surpassed $1 Billion US dollars.”
We believe these numbers demonstrate the acceptance of our solution by sales reps and the specialty retail community,” commented Dave Mathias, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, “and we couldn’t be more excited as we move into 2010.”
Greater Level of Service
“These challenging economic times dictate that all manufacturing companies look for ways to improve the efficiency and execution of their business,” continued Detmer. “The specialty retailing community faces similar challenges, and vendors need to look for new ways to foster the continued viability of this important channel. CenterStone helps its clients collaborate with their specialty retail channel by allowing buyers to get the very latest information on current and future availability, as well as product and price. Specialty retail orders through iVendix increased 45% last year continuing a trend towards more frequent restocking orders and demonstrating the specialty retail community’s concern over excess inventory. Clearly, B2B is gaining adoption rapidly and learning one system for multiple vendors is what retailers tell us makes it easiest on them,” added Detmer. “Having a well branded, but easy to use B2B e-commerce solution, is now an absolute necessity for those brands that want to stay competitive.”
Increased ROI with B2B e-commerce solutions
CenterStone has witnessed an enormous ground swell of interest in B2B technology as manufacturers have come to understand the value of B2B in driving down the cost of sales as well as its importance in helping to grow top-line sales. Research shows compelling evidence that those manufacturers with B2B solutions – who are therefore easier for specialty retailers to do business with – receive a larger share of retailers’ dollars.

DENVER, Colo. – Tuesday, October 13, 2009 - CenterStone Technologies, Inc., an international developer of Web-based B2B e-commerce software for manufacturers selling through specialty retail channels, announced today that they have developed a Downloadable Electronic Order Form capability for use with their iVendix Software-as-a-Service (Saas) application. The functionality, which has been released and is live, will provide Sales Reps, Retail Buyers and Customer Service Professionals the ability to download a spreadsheet order form, share, and upload the order form to the online system, further enhancing the collaboration capabilities of the iVendix B2B system.
“Our investment in the development of this technology demonstrates that we are listening to our users and creating solutions that more closely emulate the way people prefer to work. Let’s face it”, says Tom Detmer, President of CenterStone, “the use of spreadsheets will continue to be an integral part of seasonal ordering, and therefore, we wanted to incorporate the technology into an online solution. Our hope is that we are making our client’s solutions available to an even greater number of people.”
“Once a spreadsheet order has made, and saved, any authorized user can simply upload the order form into the iVendix system and finalize it easily online. The system will automatically check for accuracy and availability of products and let you know if something needs to be changed”, Detmer goes on to explain.

TORONTO, Canada and DENVER, Colo. – Friday, September 4, 2009 CenterStone Technologies, Inc., an international developer of Web-based B2B e-commerce software for manufacturers selling through specialty retail channels, announced today that Canada Goose, the Canadian manufacturer of iconic down jackets and outerwear, has selected the company’s iVendix Software-as-a-Service (Saas) application. When the iVendix B2B solution goes “live” later this fall, Canada Goose will provide a business-to-business (B2B) on-line ordering solution for their North American retail accounts, sales reps and global distributors with the ability to view automated catalogs, check product availability, place orders, and track and monitor the status of those orders 24/7 via the Web.
“Our investment in the implementation of this technology demonstrates another example of how we are working to ensure our customers leading edge service applications that can help them leverage the benefits of products being manufactured in Canada and all that means in terms of at-once and in-season orders.” said Dani Reiss, President & CEO at Canada Goose.
“Through our growing client list and metrics as recent as August we have observed the specialty market changing dramatically over the last 6 to 9 months, and, at the very least, we can say this year more retailers and sales reps are finding more information and placing more orders through iVendix by a very substantial amount. As manufactures work to align their cost structures and improve efficiency and execution; implementing a B2B initiative is being viewed as the “best practice” for transactional management,” said Tom Detmer, CEO of CenterStone Technologies. “There is no denying these are stressful economic times, but they are also the best time for proactive brands to better position themselves within the marketplace by placing their customers first in terms of service.” As more and more pressure is put on independent specialty retailers, they need business partners who can be responsive to them 24 hours a day, every day,” continued Detmer.

CenterStone’s B2B E-Commerce Solutions Receive Record Adoption
2008 marks fourth consecutive year of significant increase in log-ins and dollars processed
DENVER, Colo. – Tuesday, February 10, 2009. For the fourth consecutive year, CenterStone Technologies reported record numbers for transactions processed through its iVendix and Escape B2B e-commerce applications in 2008. The company’s solutions have widespread adoption among specialty retailers and sales reps and help to expand the marketplace for vendors by enabling retail dealers and sales reps to view online catalogs, check inventory availability, create sales proposals and place preseason orders, reorders, and retail employee orders more effectively and efficiently with their vendors. The company predicts that adoption of Web-based B2B wholesale ordering will continue to grow in 2009 as companies realize the competitive advantage that opening up their brands for business 24/7 provides them.
“All of our numbers are up, and up dramatically,” reported Tom Detmer, CEO of CenterStone Technologies. “CenterStone’s B2B e-commerce solutions, Escape and iVendix, processed almost $1.3 billion USD in wholesale transactions in 2008. We had a record number of active users in 2008 at more than 17,000, which is a 59% increase over 2007, further demonstrating the acceptance of our solution by sales reps and the specialty retail community. Our B2B solutions received more than 613,000 log-ins, an increase of 64% from 2007, and processed more than 452,000 orders, representing an increase of 35% over 2008. We are pleased with these results, and excited for 2010,” said Detmer.

“These challenging economic times dictate that manufacturing companies align their cost structures and improve the efficiency and execution of their business,” continued Detmer. “The specialty retailing community faces similar challenges, and vendors need to look for new ways to foster the continued viability of this important channel. CenterStone helps its clients collaborate with their specialty retail channel by allowing proposals and orders to transfer from sales rep to dealer and back, and to build and promote their brands in the B2B world. We provide tools that facilitate the dissemination of a consistent brand message — quickly, easily and in a timely manner — to specialty retailers and sales reps. Having a B2B e-commerce solution is now an absolute necessity for those brands that want to stay competitive. We want to make it easier and more profitable for those brands to do business with their specialty retail customers. Being ‘easier to do business with’ will become a key attribute of leading consumer brands and one more reason retail accounts will seek out one brand over another,” added Detmer.
Increased ROI with B2B e-commerce solutions
CenterStone has witnessed an enormous ground swell of interest in B2B technology as manufacturers have come to understand the value of B2B in driving down the cost of sales as well as its importance in helping to grow top-line sales. Research shows compelling evidence that those manufacturers with B2B solutions – who are therefore easier for specialty retailers to do business with – receive a larger share of retailers’ open-to-buy dollars.

The Apparel Group Embraces B2B E-Commerce
CenterStone to Launch iVendix for Sales Reps and Specialty Retailers
Lewisville, Tex., and Denver, Colo. – Tuesday, January 20, 2009: CenterStone Technologies, Inc., an international developer of Web-based B2B e-commerce software for manufacturers selling through specialty retail channels, announced today that The Apparel Group has selected the company’s iVendix software application to launch in 2009. When it is ‘live” later in 2009, iVendix will provide the Enro and Foxcroft brands of The Apparel Group with a business-to-business (B2B) on-line ordering solution for their retail accounts and sales reps. Retail accounts and sales reps will be able to view automated catalogs, check product availability, place orders, and track and monitor the status of those orders using iVendix because it is accessible 24/7 via the Web.
“These challenging economic times dictate that manufacturing companies align their cost structures and improve the efficiency and execution of their business,” said Mark Walz, Executive Vice President of The Apparel Group. “The specialty retailing community faces similar challenges, and vendors need to look for new ways to foster the continued viability of this channel, and having a B2B e-commerce solution is now an absolute necessity. We want to make it easier and more profitable for our customers to do business with us. Being ‘easier to do business with’ will become an additional attribute of our brands and one more reason retail accounts will seek out The Apparel Group,” continued Walz.
“CenterStone helps its clients build and promote their brands in the B2B world. We provide tools that facilitate the dissemination of a consistent brand message — quickly, easily and in a timely manner — to specialty retailers and sales reps. In this day and age, just about everyone does a pretty good job of building, supporting and promoting their brand in the B2C consumer world, but the ‘entity’ that drives the largest volume of purchases, the dealer base, the specialty retailer, is in need of the same brand support and timely messaging,” said Tom Detmer, CEO of CenterStone Technologies. “iVendix delivers a large and extensive user community that is continuing to grow at a very rapid pace. And the adoption rate of the user community will drive the ROI for the team at The Apparel Group,” Detmer added.

Baltimore, Maryland and Denver, Colorado, USA.
CenterStone Technologies, Inc., an international developer of Web-based sales order management software for manufacturers of apparel, footwear and accessories today announced that 180s is live on the company’s iVendix software application. iVendix will provide 180s with a business-to-business (B2B) online ordering solution for their retail dealers and sales reps. Now that 180s is live on iVendix, dealers and sales reps will be able to view automated catalogs, check on the availability of product, place orders, and track and monitor the status of those orders since it is accessible 24/7 via the Web.
“Providing superior customer service to our specialty retail accounts is vitally important to 180s. Although we have great products, we also want to be certain that we help our retail partners keep their shelves and racks stocked with these same great products. To do that, we need a state-of-the-art B2B solution. In our mind, a proven solution is one that our retailers will quickly adopt, and in the outdoor recreation, snow sports and the sporting goods industries CenterStone has become the industry standard. With many thousands of specialty retailers already using their iVendix application, we are confident that 180s’ dealers will also be quick to embrace CenterStone’s solution. We can easily update special offers to buyers and provide updates on new products or additional inventory with timely buyer-specific outreach. We also expect that our new B2B solution will limit the exchange of paper documents between our dealers and sales reps and will reinforce 180s’ commitment to environmental sustainability,” said Susan Shafton, CEO of 180s.
“180s is known as an innovative brand that has rapidly captured a large percentage of the accessory business in the active sports and lifestyle markets. Theirs is a product line that specialty retailers continually need to reorder, and now these same retailers are going to be able to handle their reorders at their convenience, even when 180s traditional customer service channels are closed. iVendix delivers a large and extensive user community that is growing at a very rapid pace. And it is the adoption rate by this user community that will drive the ROI for 180s,” said Tom Detmer C.E.O. of CenterStone Technologies.

Shock Doctor Selects CenterStone for B2B E-Commerce
specialty retailers and sales reps to have Web-based solution
Plymouth, Minn. and Denver, Colo. – Tuesday, July 15, 2008. CenterStone Technologies, Inc., an international developer of secure Web-based B2B e-commerce software for manufacturers selling through specialty retail channels, today announced that Shock Doctor has selected the company’s iVendix software application. iVendix will provide Shock Doctor with a business-to-business (B2B) on-line ordering solution for retail dealers and sales reps. Dealers and sales reps will be able to view automated catalogs, check on the availability of product, place orders, and track and monitor the status of those orders using iVendix because it is accessible 24/7 via the Web.
“Shock Doctor understands the importance of innovation, and especially in these challenging economic times, having a B2B e-commerce solution for our dealers and sales reps is a must-have innovation for the efficiency of a lean organization like ours. In order to continue to provide a superior level of customer service, we felt that Shock Doctor needed a proven B2B solution that would be quickly adopted by users, and CenterStone’s iVendix solution has that track record,” stated Doug Pedersen, vice president of operations at Shock Doctor. “We were looking for the best B2B e-commerce platform available and a vendor with a history of helping clients showcase their brand within the specialty retail community. iVendix is an industry standard with a history of being the most widely accepted B2B order management solution. CenterStone will help Shock Doctor remain easy to do business with by allowing our dealers and sales reps to place orders 24/7 at their convenience. At Shock Doctor we are committed to our retail partners, and our new B2B solution will insure that we are also the easiest company for specialty retailers to purchase mouthguards and other sports protection from.”
“Shock Doctor has joined a growing list of companies that truly understand, given the speed at which business is changing and against the backdrop of a slowing economy, there is an urgent need to become more efficient. To grow and thrive, let alone just survive, the old ways of conducting business at the wholesale level have to be replaced with more efficient processes,” commented Tom Detmer, CEO of CenterStone Technologies. “We are seeing more and more companies come to this realization, that their B2B site, targeted at specialty retailers and sales reps, is as important as their B2C Web site, which is targeted at consumers. Essentially, iVendix becomes the foundation for Shock Doctor’s B2B internet strategy for their retailer community. In addition to being an order-taking engine for dealers and sales reps, our B2B e-commerce solution can deliver targeted marketing messages and promotions to these other customers, the specialty retailers, wholesale buyers. In reality, who spends more dollars directly with a manufacturer, an individual consumer or their specialty retailers? We are excited that Shock Doctor has recognized the potential of iVendix as their B2B e-commerce solution, and with more than 12,000 active users of our Web-based B2B application, we are confident that, when the solution is ‘live,’ dealers will also be quick to embrace iVendix for Shock Doctor,” added Detmer.

Wellington, New Zealand and Denver, Colorado, USA.
CenterStone Technologies, Inc., an international developer of Web-based sales order management software for manufacturers of apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories, today announced that Icebreaker, the New Zealand-based manufacturer of merino wool activewear, will be live on CenterStone’s iVendix B2B e-commerce application.
iVendix will provide Icebreaker’s sales reps and more than 2,000 dealers with a 24/7 on-line ordering solution in the U.S. with more countries coming online in the months ahead. Icebreaker dealers and sales reps now can view automated catalogs, check on the availability of product, place orders, and track and monitor the status of those orders using iVendix since it is accessible 24/7 via the Web.
“When looking for a B2B solution the choice was very easy. Centerstone has a tremendous track record in providing a fast and easy solution, which is a perfect fit for us," said Icebreaker’s Russ Hopcus, president of U.S. operations. "We want to be the easiest company for specialty retailers to purchase pure outdoor merino from. CenterStone's iVendix solution has a proven track record, is widely accepted and will allow our dealers and sales reps to order 24/7. That means more merino for everyone."
“Icebreaker has joined a growing list of companies that understand the urgency of becoming more efficient, given the speed at which business is changing and against the backdrop of a slowing economy. “Icebreaker, like all our clients, came to the realization that their B2B site, targeted at specialty retailers and sales reps, is as important as their B2C Web site, which is targeted at consumers,” he continued. “Essentially, iVendix becomes the foundation for Icebreaker’s B2B internet strategy for their retailer community. After all, specialty retailers – the wholesale buyers – in reality, spend more dollars directly with a manufacturer than individual consumers, so providing a B2B solution for them is imperative. We are excited that Icebreaker has recognized the potential of iVendix as their B2B e-commerce solution, and with more than 12,000 active users of our Web-based application, we are confident that dealers will also be quick to embrace iVendix for Icebreaker,” added Detmer.

Orvis Selects CenterStone’s iVendix
to improve dealer support and customer service
with 24/7 online B2B ordering capability
For immediate release, Manchester, Vt., and Denver, Colo. – October 30, 2007. CenterStone Technologies, Inc., an international developer of Web-based sales order management software for manufacturers of outdoor and hunting gear, apparel, footwear and accessories, today announced that The Orvis Company of Manchester, Vermont has selected the company’s iVendix software application. iVendix will provide Orvis with a business-to-business (B2B) online ordering solution for their retail dealers and sales reps. When Orvis goes “live” on the application, dealers and sales reps will be able to view automated catalogs, check on the availability of product, place orders, and track and monitor the status of those orders using iVendix since it is accessible 24/7 via the Web.
“Since its founding in 1856, The Orvis Company has been committed to providing world-class customer service. That commitment extends not only to its traditional consumer base, but to their worldwide network of dealers as well. To continue building on the Orvis tradition of superior customer service in today’s business environment, the company needs a reliable B2B ordering tool,” said Jim LePage, vice president of Rod and Tackle for Orvis.
“In our mind, a proven solution is one that retailers will quickly adopt, and in outdoor recreation and sporting goods CenterStone has rapidly become the industry standard. With many thousands of specialty retailers already using their Web-based application, we are confident that Orvis dealers will also be quick to embrace CenterStone’s iVendix solution. Because this new solution is internet-enabled, and available 24/7, our dealers will be able to spend more time during the day on their shop floors with their customers and still be able to conduct business with Orvis after normal, retail business hours. Having the best products has always been an important tradition at Orvis, but being easy to do business with, will also help Orvis continue to set its brand apart, and it will contribute to the ongoing success of our specialty dealers. With this new sales order management solution, Orvis expects to take a leadership role by setting a new standard for customer service in the fishing industry. We are hoping that our new B2B solution will also limit the exchange of paper documents with our dealers and sales reps. An on-line B2B solution will allow Orvis to conduct business in a paperless manner by reducing the need for faxes, worksheets and catalogs, and it reinforces Orvis’ commitment to environmental sustainability,” said LePage.
“We are truly excited and pleased that such a storied brand in the fly fishing industry has selected CenterStone for their B2B solution. Clearly, Jim LePage and the whole senior management team at Orvis understand the importance of this initiative, which will help Orvis maintain their leadership position in the fishing and outdoor recreation space. The Orvis Company has a long-standing tradition of providing superior customer service to their specialty retail community, and Orvis has a well-deserved reputation for the unrivalled quality of their rod and tackle products. They have built the brand upon this foundation. B2B software is NOT what has made the Orvis brand a great one; software development is not their core competency. That’s CenterStone’s core competency,” said Peter O’Neil, executive vice president of Sales and Marketing for CenterStone Technologies.
“We interact with hundreds of specialty retailers every day, and they are very vocal about wanting to conduct business at their convenience on a 24/7 basis using the CenterStone B2B solution. And according to these dealers, they spend more of their open-to-buy dollars with vendors who have online ordering systems like CenterStone’s. We are confident that Orvis’ decision to partner with CenterStone will help drive continued growth of the Orvis brand in specialty retail,” O’Neil said.
Brands that currently use CenterStone’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model and make the company’s other solutions available to retail customers and sales reps include: The North Face, JanSport, Vans, Reef and VF Imagewear, part of VF Corporation (NYSE: VFC); Pearl Izumi, a division of Nautilus, Inc.
